We are always looking for more volunteers to join our team! Our volunteers enhance the lives of our residents in countless ways. We have over 90 selfless, caring, and passionate individuals who volunteer at The Meadows in different areas. Volunteering with our residents will not only benefit and impact their lives, but yours as well!
As a volunteer you will be required to complete a two hour orientation prior to starting. Our volunteer program is very flexible, as you are able to decide whether you are interested in spending 1:1 time with the residents, and/or assisting with group programs or bus outings. You additionally can pick how often you come in, and for how long. Recently, our Recreation Team has introduced "The Buddy System" for volunteers, in which you can shadow recreation staff in programs and outings until you get familiar and feel comfortable with our residents. Care Team Members at The Meadows are always here to support you and address any concerns you may have!

While our days and hours are flexible for our volunteers, we are in search for volunteers who are reliable and committed. Other qualities our volunteers represent include:
Compassionate Giving Supportive Engaging Understanding Positive Caring Personable Friendly Our volunteers must also provide a criminal reference check in order to volunteer, and must be over the age of 16.

We additionally have recently created a "Volunteer Room" in the spring of 2018, that includes lockers, kitchenette appliances, and chairs for you to relax in.
