Beth DeWolfe - Recreation Programmer

Hi, my name is Beth DeWolfe and I am from Yarmouth, N.S. I just started working at The Meadows as a Recreation Programmer in January of 2018. Prior to this, I was a recreation facilitator at Harbourside Lodge for almost ten years, and previous to that I was employed by YACRO for approximately eight years. I completed my Recreation Leadership Diploma at NSCC Truro campus in 2000, as well as my Community Residential Worker Certification at NSCC Burridge campus in 2001. I find the atmosphere at The Meadows wonderful. I really love spending time with the residents and helping them pursue their recreational goals!

 Morgan Leary - Recreation Programmer

Hi! My name is Morgan Leary and I am a Recreation Programmer here at The Meadows. I have been working here since late December of 2017, but I have actually worked here in the past as a co-op recreation student during the summers of 2016 and 2017.
I graduated from Acadia University in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I double majored in Sociology and Gender Studies and have completed my co-operative education program as well.
During my years in university I regularly volunteered with the recreation department in several different long-term care facilities, and I also volunteered as a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for two years.
I truly love the environment at The Meadows and being able to work with the amazing residents and staff here.

 Danielle Adams - Recreation Therapist

Hi, My name is Danielle Adams, and I am the Recreation Therapist here at The Meadows. In 2017, I completed my degree in Recreation with a specialization in therapeutic recreation, and a minor in psychology at Memorial University in Newfoundland.
Originally from Newfoundland, I moved to Yarmouth, N.S. in May of 2017 to pursue my dream career as a Recreational Therapist. While living in Newfoundland, I volunteered during the summer months as a softball and soccer coach for children with and without disabilities. When I was in university I was actively involved with volunteering in long term care with Eastern Health, as well as with the Canadian Diabetes Association. My current interests while living in Nova Scotia include kayaking, hiking, dodge ball, volleyball, and softball.
